SAOT Summer Academy 2025 in Waischenfeld
The SAOT Summer Academy 2025 brought together bright minds in the stunning landscape of Franconian Switzerland for a week of cutting-edge science and adventure. A standout moment was Dr. Rose Mary’s course, “Femtosecond Laser Micromachining: From Fundamentals to Applications,” which brilliantly bridged theory and real-world impact. Between sessions, we embraced the outdoors—downseiling into canyons, hiking through the mysterious Riesenburg Rockfall Cave, and kayaking along the peaceful Wiesent River. The mix of academic depth and natural beauty made for an unforgettable experience. Science, nature, and new friendships came together in perfect harmony.
