Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2025: panOPTICUM, Audimax, BR
At the Long Night of Sciences last Saturday, SAOT was involved threefold:
More than 600 people visited our panOPTICUM to learn about photonics and optical technologies. We were honored to welcome Bavarian Minister of the Interior Joachim Herrmann as a special guest. Thank you all for your curiosity, and a big thank you to the SAOT doctoral candidates who explained all the experiments to the visitors. Further, we presented a brief history of quantum physics in the Audimax of FAU. Before all this started, we conducted a light ray experiments with the guests of honor of the opening event at Bayerischer Rundfunk.
