College of Health & Human Performance, University of Florida

In February 2015 SAOT expanded its international network with the execution of a collaboration agreement with the College of Health & Human Performance at the University of Florida.

Health Innovation Research Institute, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University

In April 2014 an cooperation agreement was concluded with the Health Innovation Research Institute (HIRI), Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University. The collaboration has been initiated by Prof. Dr. Oliver Friedrich, head of the Institute of Medical Biotechnology and Principal Investigator of the SAOT.

Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Science

In January 2013 SAOT extended its international network by having signed a cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Institute of Optics and fine Mechanics (SIOM) of the Chinese Academy of Science. The collaboration has been initiated by Dr. Andreas Erdmann, affiliated with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology, the Chair of Electron Devices and SAOT (Mentor of SAOT).

Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in Sydney, Australia

On 20th September SAOT expanded its international network with the execution of a collaboration agreement with the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (VCCRI), one of the top research institutes of Australia in the field of cardiovascular disease. The application and development of optical techniques for cardiovascular research is in the focus of the collaboration. The collaboration has been initiated by Professor Oliver Friedrich, Chair Professor of the Institute of Medical Biotechnology and principal investigator of SAOT. Institute of Parasitology, McGill University, Montreal, Canada

The collaboration agreement between SAOT and the Institute of Parasitology of the McGill University, Montreal, Canada was signed May 30th, 2012.

Imperial College London, Centre for Plasmonics and Metamaterials, London, UK

The collaboration agreement between the Centre for Plasmonics and Metamaterials at Imperial College London and SAOT was signed in 2011.

The partners concerned agree in their mutual interests to further, develop and lend support to the cooperation between their research centers within the fields of:

  • Plasmonics
  • Metamaterials
  • Nanophotonics
  • Advanced Optical Technologies

Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The collaboration agreement between the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi and SAOT was signed in 2011 due to the joint research in the determination of thermo-physical properties of fluids through the application of advanced laser diagnostic techniques.

Ryerson University, Department of Physics, Toronto, Canada

The collaboration agreement between the Department of Physics at Ryerson University Toronto and SAOT was signed in July 2011. Via the Cotutelle Agreement model the possibility of a double Dr. degree is given since.

Moscow Institutes of Electronic Technology, Technical University (MIET), Moscow, Russia

The collaboration agreement between the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology – Technical University MIET was signed in 2011.

Sandia National Laboratories, Combustion Research Facility, Livermore, CA, USA

The memorandum of understanding between Sandia Corporation and SAOT was signed in June, 2011.

Subject: Joint collaboration to further the understanding of complex chemical and physical processes occurring in engine combustion systems through the use of advanced optical and laser diagnostics.

Université Laval, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada

The Collaboration Agreement between SAOT & Bavarial Laser Center and the Laval University Quebec was signed on November 19th, 2010.

Institut National D’Optique, Quebec, Canada

The Collaboration Agreement between SAOT & Bavarial Laser Center and the INO Institut National d’Optique was signed on November 19th, 2010.

University of Salerno, Department Food & Chemical Engineering, Fisciano, Italy

Due to the intensive exchange of scientists and doctoral researchers in the field of optical diagnostics for high pressure process technology this collaboration agreement was signed in 2011.

Indian Institute of Petroleum, CSIR-Institute, Dehradun, India

The collaboration agreement between SAOT and the CIRS Institute “Indian Institute of Petroleum” was signed February 27th, 2010.

Polytechnic State University of St. Petersburg, Russia

The collaboration agreement between St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University and SAOT was signed in 2010.

CNR – Instituto Motori, Neaples, Italy

The collaboration agreement between SAOT and the CNR institute “Instituto Motori” was signed an May 7th, 2009.

Russian Academy of Sciences, A.M. Prokhorov General Physics Institute, Natural Science Center (NSC), Moscow, Russia

The collaboration agreement between the General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Science and SAOT was signed in 2008. There is an intense exchange of scientists in the field of non-linear effects. The collaboration agreements covers collaboration with the Natural Science Center (NSC).

Russian Academy of Sciences, A.M. Prokhorov General Physics Institute, Optical Spectroscopy Departmentm, Moscow, Russia

The collaboration agreement between the General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Science and SAOT was signed in 2008. There is an intense exchange of scientists in the field of non-linear effects. The collaboration agreements covers collaboration with the Optical Spectroscopy department.
