SAOT Winter Academy 2019
25 students from SAOT and MAOT participated in the Winter Academy 2019, which took place in Oberhof, Thuringia from February 24 – March 1. The scientific program comprised the following courses:
- Life Cell Microscopy: Applications and Solutions to Life Sciences and Cell Biology (Friedrich, Simon, Gilbert, Schürmann – FAU)
- Inverse analysis in optical diagnostics (Daun – University of Waterloo, Huber – FAU)
- Fundamental of Optics (Hohmann – FAU)
Besides that, the participants found diversion by entering Oberhof’s ice canal with an inflatable boat and knocking down the pins during a convivial bowling evening.
