SAOT Summer Academy 2019
18 SAOT Doctoral Candidates and 3 MAOT Students participated in this year’s summer academy, which took place in Waischenfeld, Germany at the Fraunhofer-Forschungscampus from 19.08.2019 to 23.08.2019. The scientific program comprised the following courses:
- Application of Dynamic Light Scattering in Biomedical Systems (AOT-TP: Fröba, Piszko, Klein)
- Turning dark field illumination into a bright solution for EUV lithography (ASML)
The beautiful nature around Waischenfeld allowed all particants to find diversion and to socialize during group building games at ‘Burg Waischenfeld’ and a hiking trip to ‘Burg Rabenstein’ – also comprising a guided tour through ‘Sophienhöhle’, one of the oldest still active dripstone caves in the southern part of Germany.
